Who we are
Pinpoint Growth is a sole trader business based in London, providing local SEO, Google Business Profile management and website design services.
For the purposes of UK data protection law, Pinpoint Growth is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

What this policy covers
This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use pinpointgrowth.co.uk or enquire about our services, why we collect it and what rights you have over it.
It doesn’t cover other websites we link to. If you follow a link to another site, that site’s own privacy policy applies.
Information we collect
If you complete a form, email or call, we collect the information you give us: typically your name, email address, phone number, business name, website address and whatever you tell us about your business.
We’ll additionally hold information needed to deliver and invoice for the work. That may include billing details, business address, and access credentials for services like your website, Google Business Profile, Google Analytics or Search Console.
Like most websites, ours collects limited technical information automatically: IP address, browser type, device, the pages you visited and how you arrived. This is used in aggregate to understand how the site is performing.
We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we don’t collect special category data (health, ethnicity, political opinions, and similar). Please don’t send us anything of that kind.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
Under UK GDPR we need a lawful basis for processing your information. Ours are:

We don’t send marketing emails to people who haven’t asked for them, and we don’t add enquirers to a mailing list. If that ever changes, it will be opt-in and clearly flagged at the point you give us your details.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your information. We don’t share it with anyone for their own marketing purposes.
We do use third-party services to run the business, and your information may pass through them:
Each of these has its own privacy policy. Where a provider processes data outside the UK or EEA, we rely on their standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
We may also share information where we’re legally required to, for example with HMRC, or if compelled by law.

Our website uses cookies, small files stored on your device.
Essential cookies keep the site working and can’t be turned off.
Analytics cookies help us understand how people use the site. These only load if you accept them via the cookie banner, and you can change your mind at any time by clearing your cookies.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as well.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct anything that’s wrong
- Erase your information, where there’s no overriding reason for us to keep it
- Restrict or object to how we use it
- Portability, receive your information in a transferable format
- Withdraw consent where consent is the basis we’re relying on

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We’d appreciate the chance to put it right first, but you’re entitled to go to them directly.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information: encrypted connections, two-factor authentication on business accounts, a password manager rather than reused passwords, and access limited to what’s needed to do the work.
No system is completely secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security. If a breach occurred that put your rights at risk, we’d notify you and the ICO as required.
Changes
We may update this policy. Any changes appear here with a revised date at the top. If we ever made a significant change to how we use your information, we’d tell affected clients directly rather than relying on you noticing.
